Best stylus – Apple Pencil (USB-C)
A stylus can be much easier to control than a finger for writing, signing forms, or filling in small boxes on a screen, especially for anyone with shakier hands or reduced dexterity. The Apple Pencil (USB-C) needs a little setup. Slide open the end, use a USB-C cable to connect it to your iPad, and tap “Tap to Connect” on the screen. You can then unplug it to write. Check your exact iPad model against Apple’s compatibility list before buying: this Pencil does not work with every iPad and requires iPadOS 17.1.1 or later.

Holding an iPad for a long video call or while following a recipe gets tiring fast.
